Lake Tahoe is considered one of the finest recreation areas in all of America. Surrounded by both resorts and wilderness, there really is something for everyone to be found here. The west side of the lake is in California and is filled with ski areas which border spectacular wilderness regions far above the lakeshore. On the east and more importantly, the south side, there are casinos and shops to no end. The South Shore of Lake Tahoe is famous for it's gaming and showroom performers. The north shore is more subdued with it's ski and fishing resort mindset. Like we said, there really is something for everyone at Lake Tahoe.
