Snowboarding is BIG in the Eastern Sierra and not just at Mammoth Mountain. Extreme snowboarders have been tackling the most difficult lines in the sierra with ease using the new tool known as a snowboard. Tight and obscure lines become easy. Most boarders use snowshoes to ascend and then rip it up. At Mammoth Mountain they not only rip up the steepest lines but the terrain park and the duelling halfpipes set this area apart as the best in the world.
