Reno
Welcome!
"The Biggest Little City in the World". Advertised as small and quaint, Reno has become quite a metropolis in the last decade or so. Big Casinos and re-development downtown have transformed this one time wilderness outpost into a thriving commercial center. Nearby Lake Tahoe adds to the allure with lodges, casino hotels and ski resorts a plenty. Reno is famous for it's "Hot August Nights" series of events which bring out cars from days gone by in a cruisers dream come true. Action seekers won't want to miss the "National Air Races", "The Great Balloon Race" and "The Snafflebit Futurity" held in September. It can get hot in Reno every once in a while but it is a great alternative to the sweltering heat of Las Vegas, and with nearby Lake Tahoe, you can always cool your heels in the high country before a night out on the town in this "Biggest Little City in the World".
