Grab a boat and go for the BIG FISH. There is great fishing to be found throughout the Eastern Sierra but if you are looking for the big ones, then you need a boat, some big lures, and alot of patience.
Try the South Lake Boat Landing where the big fish are sure to be hiding.
Most all the major lakes in the Eastern Sierra offer boat rentals and quite often there is an affordable half-day rate that will put you on the water for almost nothing.
